Integer Plugin 1.3
Version 1.3 of my Integer Plugin adds functions to convert REALbasic integers and doubles into strings without truncation. They are:
Str(x As Integer) As String
Str2(x As Integer) As String (identical to first function)
Str2(x As Double) As String
Note that the first function overloads REALbasic's Str function, which is:
Str(x As Double) As String
If you give an integer argument to this function, it is converted to a double and then converted into a string. This sometimes gives an undesired output.
Str2 with a Double argument will yield a string which can carry up to 16 significant figures of accuracy. I think that it will usually give a desired output.
Integer Plugin for REALbasic 5 and higher allows you to construct programs which can handle unsigned 64-bit, signed 64-bit, and unsigned 32-bit integers. You can use the arithmetic operators +, -, *, / with these numbers. And they can interact with REALbasic integers.
Freeware.

SortLibrary 2.2 is now available from a website near you.
Almost all of the code was rewritten to take advantage of REALbasic 2005 language additions, and so this version requires REALbasic 2005.
ArraySorter now has methods Sort, InsertionSort, IntroSort, MergeSort, that sort a range of elements in an array.
The various exception classes have been replaced by a single SortLibraryException class. Should you encounter an instance of one, check the Message property. Precondition failures are your fault; any other errors are mine.
The partition code in QuickSort and IntroSort has been rewritten, improving performance in some common cases.
The InsertionSort code was tweaked to improve its style rating.
The sortdown code in HeapSort was rewritten, yielding a substantial performance gain.
The ArraySorter.ExceptionRaised event has been removed.
Introsort now does not cause crashes when called on an empty array in some flavors of Windows. Thanks to Chris Little for catching it.
A second window containing some validation tests has been added to the project.
Download it from http://www.declareSub.com/>.

Windows Functionality Suite 2.0
You may have previously heard of this project as the Win32 Declare Library. The main reason for the name change was because the name was misleading. While this project does rely on declares to implement the functionality it provides, it is not a wrapper around declares -- you do not need to know any of the Win32 APIs to use this library. It's a set of completed functionality that you can drop into any project and start using. So that's why the name of the project has changed.
The Windows Functionality Suite is a set of REALbasic classes and modules that provide convenient access to things that are not included in the framework already. It is an on-going open source project that includes many different pieces of Windows-specific functionality for your application. It is provided free of charge and includes a rich feature set including:
* System Parameters, Colors and Metrics
* OS Version and Process Information
* Service Support
* System Colors
* Registry Helpers
* High Performance Counters
* Locale Information
* Cryptography
* Plug and Play Notifications
* StatusBar Control
* TreeView Control
* Date/Time and Calendar Controls
* Extended ToolTip Support
* Window and FolderItem Extensions
* And Much More!
This project is provided free of charge and is in no way associated with
REAL Software. If you run into problems or questions, you can email me
at aaron@realsoftware.com. When I get the chance, I'll respond.
You're welcome to use the code in your own projects. All I ask is that
if you add anything to the code base you send your changes to me so I
can incorporate them into the project.
http://www.aaronballman.com/programming/REALbasic/Win32FunctionalitySuite.php
What's new in this version:
This release was essentially a bug fixing release which fixes a reserved word collision introduced in REALbasic 2005r3. In r3, "Continue" became a reserved word -- so the Service.Continue method would no longer compile. So in WFS 2.2, Service.Continue was renamed to be Service.Resume. You will have to update any code which uses this feature.
See the version history for a complete listing of changes for version 2.2.
Enjoy! If you would like to submit any features for inclusion, please
contact me so I can add them. Also, if you have any ideas for things
that are missing, or improvements to be made -- drop me a line!
