Verbose MacOS X Startup!

Nate Friedman was the first of many helpful ResEx readers to let me know how to get the "verbose" text based startup. He also provides an extra tip...

The verbose booting has moved from 'V' to Command-V. If you hold Command-V at boot, you’ll get the same verbose booting as in the Public Beta.

A couple of other boot tweaks with Mac OS X are, Command-S for single user mode, (command line interface as root, no password by default! That's bad!) And lastly Command-X to force a UMA Macintoshes to boot into Mac OS X (it doesn't matter what OS is selected!)

A copy of all the login text is always available in the text file: /var/log/system.log
