Scott Chitwood | Chief Editor
The Chitwood family bought our first computer, a Bondi Blue iMac running MacOS 8.5, in November 1998. It didn't take me long to discover that icons, desktops and other gui elements could be changed with little effort. When I discovered that I could make my own gui goodies the hammer fell and I've been hooked ever since.
My background is in commercial graphics, most of my career has been spent working for printing companies with the biggest part of my experience in screen printing. I currently work for Zane Williams Sign & Display as estimator and project coordinator.

Michael Coyle | Founder: Out Fishing
From Scott and the staff of ResExcellence
Thank you for your many years of dedication to ResExcellence, the Macintosh GUI Community and for giving all of us digital artists and code crunchers a place to call home. Your legacy has touched us all and we'll always carry that no matter what the years ahead may bring!

Cletus Waldman | Software Editor
I can honestly say Cletus is the kind of guy you would like to meet for a beer, or as in our case - two or three!
By day, Cletus is an instructor at Pennsylvania College of Technology, teaching young minds X-ray Imaging. After a freak accident during a training exercise, Cletus was exposed to massive amounts of X-Ray radiation. This mutated his cellular structure, turning him into "Software Archive Man".
After Marvel comics turned him down for the starring role in a comic book, he came to ResExcellence where he maintains the finest collection of User Interface Software on the net.

Dan Flax | Icons and Desktops
Landscaper by day, graphic and web designer by night, Dan trades in his shovel to join the ResExcellence staff as Icon and Desktop Editor. "It's a natural transition" Dan says "from using a pick to picking desktop pics".
Visit his own digital art website for the Mac, FlaxCreations, and you can tell he loves this stuff.

Erick Tejkowski | REALbasic Editor
Erick is the author of REALbasic for Dummies, so I'd say he knows what he's talking about! The most agreeable employee at ResEx, his office is an old janitor's closet. He is holed-up in there for days at a time writing code. We often just slip cans of Red Bull and granola bars through a mail slot in the door. He only comes out at night. His favorite author is Anne Rice, and his best friends are O+. Hmm.....
