Open a copy of the Quicktime 4.0 plugin in ResEdit and find the STR# resources.
Open them with a double-click.
Find ID #127 and open it with a double-click.
Scroll to the bottom of the long list and click once on item number 35)****
From the Resource menu, select Create New Fields... (Do this twice).
In each of the new item boxes type: Shockwave Flash Animation
Once ID 127 looks like the graphic below, close the ID.
Open STR# ID 128.
Scroll to the bottom of the long list and click once on item number 69)****
From the Resource menu, select Create New Fields... (do this twice).
In item 70 type: application/x-shockwave-flash
In item 71 type: swf
When your ID looks like the graphic below, close ID 128.
Save your work and quit ResEdit. Replace the original plugin with the new one and launch your browser. Visit a site with Flash to see how it works!
