ResExcellence Special Report: DragThing 2.6 beta
While stumbling through the back alleys of Cork, Ireland, a ResExcellence operative stumbled upon a floppy disk stuck to the side of a pint of Guinness. After running the disk through Norton 4.0, a beta copy of DragThing 2.6 was rescued! Weaving his way back to his Mac, he logged the following report...

This latest version of James Thomson's Process/Application Dock is nothing short of stunning in appearance.
Now MacOS 8.5 savvy, with full support for 32 bit icons, Navigation Services, and anti-aliased text, DragThing 2.6 has raised the bar again.
The new changes aren't only cosmetic!
Window floating can now be set on a per dock basis in any combination. And while you can still set a Hot Corner to bring DragThing to the front, you now have the option of setting a Hot Edge on your monitor.
Several bugs were also squashed!
The Preferences panel (pictured below) now allows you to import third party color combinations, such as the Bondi Blue created by Icon Factory

Layer options and Bevel styles can be applied to all dock layers at once.

By far the best new feature is the selection of bevels and gradients.
Each one is so beautiful, you'll find yourself spending an inordinate amount of time trying to decide which one to use!

Due out soon, DragThing 2.6 will be a must have utility for all Mac uses - especially if you're running MacOS 8.5.
Not only will it save you time by organizing your commonly used items, the new appearance features will allow it to seamlessly fit in with any Kaleidoscope scheme
