| Add the Icons back to your Modem Scripts.
After upgrading to MacOS 8, Klaas Dijkhuizen noticed that his modem scripts had lost their cute little phone icons and were now generic. Follow these step by step instructions to get them back!
Download these ResEdit resources that you will need to complete the edit.
 This is what the icons looked like before the edit.
Boring! :)
 Open the new file that you just downloaded in ResEdit.
Select all the resources with a Command-A and copy them to the clipboard.
Open a copy of the Modem control panel in ResEdit.
Select Paste from the clipboard.
 Save your work and quit ResEdit. Put the original Modem Control panel in the Trash, but don't delete it until you're sure you did this correctly!
Restart the computer and rebuild the desktop holding down the Option-Command keys.
When the desktop is done, take a look at your new Modem icons!
