Run multiple Launchers with different looks and items.
If one Launcher window isn't enough for you, this little edit allows two or more Launchers to run simultaneously, and even allows for the different color styles and custom fonts edits we performed previously.
Follow the instructions for each copy of the Launcher you wish to run.
Make two copies of the Launcher and rename them Launcher 1 and Launcher 2. Create two folders to represent the items for each Launcher. When we're finished, put the folders in the System Folder, and the Launcher copies in the Startup Items Folder.
 Make a copy of the Launcher and rename it Launcher 1.
Open Launcher 1 in ResEdit and scroll to the STR# resources.
Open them with a double-click.
Find ID#-4033 and open it with a double-click.
For each copy of the Launcher, change the Item numbers 1 and 8, as shown below, with the number of the Launcher copy.
You're done editing. Quit ResEdit and save your work. Put the new items where they belong and Restart the Computer.
 After restart, you should have two Launcher windows, each with their own item sets.
In the Preferences folder, you will have two copies of the preferences as well.
