Adding a Command Key for the Tasks Window in Eudora.
One of the best features of Eudora Pro 4.0 is the ability to download mail in the background. After retrieving the new messages, you need to open the "Tasks" window and click the Deliver button to transfer the mail to the In Box.
I have always wanted a command key to open the "Tasks" window, then I wouldn't need to use the mouse at all to deliver my new messages. This edit shows you how to add one.
Open a copy of Eudora Pro 4.0 and scroll down to the MENU resource.
Open it with a double-click.

Scroll down to
ID# 1514, and open it with a double-click.
As pictured below, select the Task Progress menu item with a single click. Under the Cmd-Key setting, enter the letter T.

Save your work and quit ResEdit. Now when you hit Command-M to check your mail, you can follow up with Command-T to switch to the Tasks Window, and Return to select the Deliver button, and your mail will be transferred to the In Box. No mouse clicks needed! |
