| Assigning Sherlock to the Search button in iCab
Are you using the new lean mean browser called iCab? This little tip allows Apple's search tool Sherlock to launch whenever you click iCab's Search button.
The first step is telling iCab the correct location for Sherlock. Create a SimpleText document called "path.html" containing the text: "ResExcellence is Cool".
Save the file into the Apple Menu folder (since that is where your copy of Sherlock probably is!). You can quit SinpleText.
Launch iCab and from the File menu, select Open File...
Make your way to the Apple Menu folder and open your new text document "path.html"

If you look at the URL for your document, it should look similar to the picture above (with the exception of the Hard disk name. Of cource, if your hard disk is also named Blackbird, then it will look exactly the same!).
Change the text end of the URL from path.html to Sherlock. Copy the entire URL to the clipboard.
Open the iCab Preferences and on the left side select "Home, Search, Help.
Under the search URL, paste in the path to Sherlock (as shown in the graphic below).

Close the Preferences, delete the file path.html from the Apple Menu, and iCab is all set to use Sherlock when you click its Search button.
