| Remove Icons from the menus in ICQ.
Does making a menu selection ICQ make you feel like you're running ClarisWorks for Kids? Here's how to remove them.
 Open a copy of ICQ in ResEdit and find the MENU resources.
Open them with a double-click.
 As an example, we will remove the icons in ID #500, but the same procedure will work on all the ID's.
Open ID# 500 with a double-click.
 Notice that in ResEdit's menu bar there is a new item corresponding to ID# 500. This comes in handy for checking your work.
 Click on the first menu item "Online" as shown in the graphic on the left.
 Select the menu item, "Remove Icon".
Repeat the "Select/Delete" routine for each menu item.
 When you're finished, check your work in the "test menu" to make sure the icons are gone.
After you have removed the icons from the menus, save your work and quit ResEdit.
The next time you run ICQ, the icons will be gone!
