There's been a lot of discussion in recent weeks regarding the future of CandyBar when comparing it to ShapeShifter's new icon theming feature. What do I think of that? There is no way I'm letting go of my CandyBar! You can count on that — as far as I'm concerned there is no comparison that can be made between the two other than both have the ability to switch your System level icons. But do we really want to leave the icon selections in the hands of another? Did I say "no way" above? I want to choose my icons, end of story.

CandyBar 2.0 represents a significant upgrade over the previous version, 1.6.5. In additon to being able to change System level icons, CandyBar can now scan your hard drive and locate and show icons for all your apps in it's second tab. The third tab keeps track of volumes along with their associated icons.
