Replace The Icon Used In The Iomegaware Control Strip Module

John Gunnison commented on how ugly Iomega's CSM icon looked. You can follow these easy instructions to replace it with a more appropriate Zip drive icon.

Open a copy of the Iomega CSM in ResEdit.

Find the PICT resource and open it with a double-click.

Download the replacement resource, open it with ResEdit, and open the only PICT resource.

Copy the new PICT to the clipboard (Command-C), and paste it into the Iomega CSM.

If asked, click Yes on the dialog box that asks if you want to replace the same ID number.

Save your work and quit ResEdit.

Replace the old CSM with the new one and restart your computer.

The UGLY yellow logo will be gone, and be replaced by a nice looking Zip Icon.
