Scrollability by Edenware provides a way of scrolling that you may not be use to. From the read me: "Scrollability gives you faster, more intuitive ways to scroll through documents than the scroll bar and keyboard do. This control panel from Apple goes back a little. It will allow you to control the speed of the scrolling bar. This will be especially useful to those who have the newer G3's and find the scrolling extremely fast. Although this version was released in 1991, it has caused no problems for me and 8.6

SETI@home (v.2.0.4) 360K
SETI@home is a way for all you Sci-Fi revelers to help search for Extraterrestrials. From the read me: SETI@home actually runs in two ways: The “application” and the “screensaver”. It can do its work in either of these modes: it downloads blocks of data through the Internet, performs the number crunching on that data (looking for orderly patterns that might originate in outer space), returns the results, and gets another block of data. The application is represented by a green radio telescope icon in the Menu Bar (normally at the upper right of your screen). You can open the application window by selecting Launch from this icon.

Smart Window (PPC) by Vincenzo Fazzi "Moving a drag selection over a collapsed window's title bar, Smart Window will expand that window automatically, letting the user choose the drop location exactly (or continue the navigation using the Finder "spring-loaded folders" feature); as soon as the drag is completed or the user moves the drag selection over another window, the auto-expanded window will be collapsed again automatically."

TaskMenuBar (v2.0) 65K Shareware
TaskMenuBar by Hugh Kawahara From the page: "TaskMenuBar is a control panel that uses the empty space on the menu bar to switch and launch applications, and drag-and-drop files on applications. Because it only uses the menu bar, unlike other utilities, it will never obscure or be obscured by other windows. You might think there is not enough space on the menu bar. The above example is 512 pixels wide So if you have a Mac plus, your menu bar would took like this. But if you have a larger monitor, such as 1024x768, you rarely run out of space. " Some readers have noted a problem with this program working when certain Schemes in Kaleidoscope are used. First you define a number of abbreviations and the full text entries that they represent, then you watch the Mac expand them on the fly even as you continue typing!" Zoomie (v1.0.3) 7K Freeware (Compatible with Mac OS 9.0.x)
Zoomie by Paul Sexton is small extension that makes window Zoom boxes more convenient. Normally zooming a window causes the zoom box to move as well. If you want to immediately zoom the window back, you have to re-find the box to click it. With Zoomie, the mouse pointer moves WITH the window, staying inside the box where it's ready to immediately click again. Will work with non-standard windows as found in Kaleidoscope.
