Apple today released an update for iPhone 4S models running its mobile operating system. This patch brings the software to revision 6.1.1; its purpose is to fix “an issue that could impact cellular performance and reliability for iPhone 4S.” IOS 6.1.1 is not available for any devices other than the iPhone 4S since this was the only one affected by the issue. Whether you own a CDMA or GSM model of this iPhone, you should upgrade as soon as possible to ensure optimal usage.
