Kuvva is a free wallpaper app and a source for beautiful wallpapers on Mac and iPhone. Kuvva runs silently in the background to refresh your wallpapers automatically. You can refresh wallpapers, discover artists and change your preferences via the menu bar icon. You can choose from the featured artist of the week or the most popular wallpapers via the preferences panel. Users can create an account to build their own collection with their favorite wallpapers to stream. Wallpapers can also be scheduled to display when you want, by day, hour or week.
Kuvva has a website which lets you browse through wallpapers. The main area of potential improvement I can see is categories. Currently, Kuvva doesn’t allow you to select a category, so the app will most likely stream wallpapers you dislike to your desktop. Despite this, it is a nice concept, and one that allows people to easily find wallpapers and talented artists that they otherwise might not have. There is also an iPhone app available.
